Hana Makgeolli at Ototo and Tsubaki

Hana Makgeolli’s founder Alice Jun is making the cross-country trek from Brooklyn to Echo Park and setting up at Ototo and Tsubaki for a night on Friday, April 26. Both restaurants will be adding a special Korean dish to their menus for a night, plus offering pours of Hana’s makgeolli, takju, and yakju. 1360 Allison Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90026.

Chef Gian Scott at McCall’s

The Los Feliz location of McCall’s is hosting a weekend pop-up with chef Gian Scott on Saturday, April 27. The menu will feature jerk chicken, fish fry, and grilled okra. 2117 Hillhurst Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

Orange Glou Wine Fair comes to LA

The Orange Glou Wine Fair, a festival dedicated to skin-contact wine, is coming to Los Angeles for the first time this weekend on April 27. A ticket includes tastings of over 80 wines, plus a glass to take home. Simón will also be on-site to serve up some Mexican seafood. Estepan at Now Serving

Bay area bakery pop-up, Estepan, will be at Now Serving on Saturday, April 27. Put in a pre-order for bread boxes with conchas and pretzels, or an individual order of shokupan. A Texas barbecue Passover pop-up

Jenn Sills of Gjusta and Jon & Vinny’s is collaborating with cookbook author Natasha Feldman on a two-night Passover pop-up on April 27 and 28. Transparentsea Dinner

Head to Fiesta Grill in Santa Clarita over the weekend to find soul food pop-up, Booku Po’Boys. For a chilaquiles craving, head to the corner of Vermont and 6th Street in Koreatown where Don Chilaquiles sets up from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except for Sunday. Chef Debbie Lee’s Korean fried chicken restaurant, Yi Cha, is popping up at the former Bar Moruno space in Silver Lake on Friday nights in advance of its opening in its permanent Highland Park spot this summer. Banh Mi Thao

Vegan banh mi pop-up, Banh Mi Thao, has shared its April schedule. Starting the 20th, Banh Mi Thao will be popping up all across town in Los Feliz, Lincoln Heights, Costa Mesa, and Long Beach. Rotating locations.

Hamburgers Nice

For burgers in Long Beach, head to the weekly Hamburgers Nice pop-up at the neighborhood cafe and bar, Good Time. On Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. the pop-up serves burgers and fries that pair perfectly with a glass of wine.
