While a certain famous fast food Halloween bucket continues to catch flack from fans, Dunkin' has just announced that it's releasing its own spooky bucket for the holiday. The donut and coffee shop revealed its new Halloween lineup earlier today and among the exciting offerings is a brand new Halloween Munchkins bucket.
The adorable, all-purple bucket is illustrated with a Halloween motif and can be filled with a 50-count (!) assortment of Munchkins donut holes.
An Instagram post about the Halloween Munchkins bucket from the food news account @markie_devo is filled with comments from fans eager to get their hands on the new item.
"These are ten times better than this years McDonalds buckets!" one person wrote.
In addition to the Munchkins bucket, Dunkin' also plans to roll out the all-new Potion Macchiato. The chilling beverage, which is available hot or iced, blends espresso and milk with a purple marshmallow ube flavor.
In honor of spooky season, fans can also look forward to a Halloween-inspired makeover of the Spider Donut. Dunkin' is swapping the donut's usual orange frosting for a ghoulish purple frosting.
For Dunkin', it was essential that they embrace this haunting time of year just as much as their customers do.
“At Dunkin’, we love keeping guests fueled through every season, and Halloween is no exception. With beloved treats like our Spider Donut and new menu items like the Potion Macchiato, we’re excited to give customers a delicious way to celebrate the spooky season,” said Beth Turenne, Vice President of Category Management at Dunkin’, in a statement.
Dunkin's Halloween treats will be available starting October 16 for a limited time.
And if you're more tricks than treats, Dunkin' is also releasing an all-new costume set inspired by the DunKings. The set, which can be purchased for $44.99, will include a long-sleeve jersey shirt, bucket hat, and sunglasses.
