THE INTERNET IS CHANGING THEIR OPINION ON KING CHARLES AFTER BEING OFFERED A BURGER KING CROWN

In case you aren't caught up with the latest news regarding the crown—and yes, we mean the physical crown—let us fill you in. According to BBC News, in December, King Charles had to part ways with the famous St. Edward's Crown "to allow for modification work to begin" before his coronation on May 6.

Not to worry, though! Given that the coronation is still over a month away, some enthusiastic fans recently offered King Charles a temporary crown.

Food & Wine reports that during a visit to Berlin, Germany, this week, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla greeted a group of over 1,000 people. And during an exchange with a small handful of them, King Charles was offered a paper Burger King crown.

Taken aback by the jewel-free piece of cardboard, he quickly responded "I'm alright" after being offered the "present."

The group of crown-wearing fans had more luck with Queen Consort Camilla, who gamely accepted the Burger King crown after they told her that it was a "last-minute gift."

"Just met the royals charles was on the other side. We were all wearing burger king hats and she loved it," wrote TikTok user @_tomsteel in their video of the brief exchange.

Adding to the hilarious moment, a McDonald's restaurant could can be spotted in the background as the Burger King crown was gifted.

Although the Burger King crown was a nice gesture, the nearly 400-year-old St. Edward's Crown is surely worth waiting for. The crown flaunts a solid gold frame that's set with rubies, amethysts, sapphires, garnet, topazes, and tourmalines.
