A NEW YORK-STYLE PIZZERIA IS HEADED TO ALLSTON

Traveler Street Hospitality — the restaurant group behind South End hits including Italian restaurant Bar Mezzana, tropical bar and sushi spot Shore Leave, and more — is getting into the pizza game. The team announced that FiDO Pizza (with some very cute pup branding) is due to open this summer inside the Allston Labworks Campus at 250 Western Avenue. It’ll be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and will feature chef Colin Lynch’s spin on New York-style pizza, according to a press release. They also snagged a full liquor license for the project, which means there will be cocktails, beer, and wine on offer. Beverage director Ryan Lotz is in charge of the bar program. While the debut is still months away, the team is currently fundraising to help defray opening costs.
